Data Collection and Purposes of Processing
The SELLER collects personal data concerning its Users on the SITE, including through cookies. USERS may disable cookies by following the instructions provided by their browser. This data collection occurs when the User:

The collected data is necessary for the following processing purposes:

Account Creation, Forms, and Questionnaires
The User must complete all fields in the account creation form or any information entry form on the Site, except for fields displayed as optional (i.e., those not marked with an asterisk). Optional information is collected by THE SELLER to better understand Site Users. All information marked with an asterisk is mandatory. Failure to provide this information will result in the account not being created or the form not being validated. THE SELLER will not be able to fulfill the User's requests.
Data Recipients
The collected data is intended for the use of the SELLER. Data may be transmitted to commercial and advertising partners. Data may also be processed by subcontractors used by THE SELLER for personalizing Site content, sending personalized promotional offers, and shipping orders.
Right of Access, Rectification, and Deletion
In accordance with the Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, as amended, the User has the right to access, rectify, and delete data concerning them. The user may expressly object to the processing of their personal data. To do so, they simply need to fill out the online "Contact Customer Service" form or send an email to contact@meca-boat.com. The User must provide their last name, first name, and postal address. The request must be signed and accompanied by a valid ID bearing their signature. The User may specify the address to which the response should be sent. THE SELLER has a period of 2 months from receipt of the User's request to respond. After this period, the Client may refer the matter to the CNIL in case of a negative response or absence of response from the SELLER. The CLIENT also has the option to exercise this right directly from their customer account, where the User can view, modify, or request the deletion of their personal data.
Data Retention Period
THE SELLER retains data for a period of three years from the end of the relationship with the customer or prospect. This period begins from either the last order, the last login to the customer account, the last call to customer service, the sending of an email to customer service, a click on a hypertext link in an email sent by THE SELLER, placing products in the cart without finalizing the purchase, or finally, a positive response to an email asking if the customer wishes to continue receiving commercial prospecting at the end of a five-year period. At the end of this period, customer or prospect data will be anonymized. However, information used to establish proof of a right or contract, or kept for compliance with a legal obligation, may be archived in accordance with current legal provisions.
Newsletters
Upon creating an account and subsequently in managing preferences via the "My Account" section, the User may subscribe to the SELLER's newsletter. They have the option at any time to adjust the information they wish to receive or to unsubscribe by clicking the link provided at the bottom of each newsletter. Identified Users who have chosen one or more services offered by the Site are also subscribed to the newsletter. Exception: In accordance with Article L 34-5 of the Post and Electronic Communications Code, the SELLER may send electronic commercial prospecting to a User who has not given prior consent if the User is already a customer, did not object to receiving prospecting at the time of account creation, and the prospecting concerns products or services similar to those already provided by the SELLER.
Postal Mail and Phone Number
The customer's postal address and phone number are necessary for processing orders and managing commercial relations. The SELLER uses this data for commercial prospecting. The customer can object to this at any time, simply and free of charge, via the "My Account" section or by mail to: contact@meca-boat.com. Users who do not wish to be subject to commercial phone solicitation are informed of their right to register their numbers on the free "Bloctel" opposition list at http://www.bloctel.gouv.fr/.
SMS / MMS
The SELLER may use the customer's mobile number for order management and commercial prospecting. The customer can object at any time by replying "STOP" to the received SMS.
Cookies
